What an incredible place to visit! I would suggest if you are new to start at the visitor center and get a map. They have a small little museum that is fun for the kids. We drove around about an hour not sure where to start or park. We then realized there was a shuttle! If you park at the visitor center or the over flow parking just at the bottom of the hill a shuttle will pick you up and take you to the main part of the park. Make sure to check out the balanced rock. It was a nice little climb where you can take pictures. The entire place was friendly for all ages and pets. There were even some trails that were paved. Bring sunscreen, hat, snacks, and water. Superb stop!

Beautiful place to visit! It was very busy and we went on a Tueaday. Go to the visitor center first and get a map and check out their small museum. We weren't sure where to park so we drove around wasting time. We then realized there is a shuttle bus! You can park up by the visitor center or in the overflow just below the visitor center. The tram will pick you up and take you to the main part of the park. Then you just get on again to go back. There are some neat places to pull over and take pictures. Check out the balancing rock it was a fun little climb. We were going to do the tour the welcome center offers for $17 a person but we were told they just stay on the main roads and don't go anywhere unusual. Bring water, snacks and sunscreen. Great place for all ages. Some trails are paved and that was nice. Pet friendly also. A must see!!

Awesome place for a short hike. Wear tennis shoes and hat the rocks are slick and there is no shade. Bring water! Great for kids. There is one steep hill but it's worth it!
