My husband wanted to drive 300 miles off my trip to see this. Let me just say nothing can prepare your eyes for that. My glasses turned as dark as they have ever been. And I still could not open my eyes. LOL! Salt as far as the eyes can see. Beautiful!

Let me just say WOW! It was so beautiful! We were there for a good 20 minutes before we heard someone speaking English. Folks from all over the world were checking out the Canyon! Gives me pride knowing that God made something so Beautiful for all the world to see right there in the middle of no-where Arizona. I will give a heads up, while the tower is free, it does cost $35 to get into the park to see the Canyon.
The cars had just got some new art while I was there. It is a very cool thing. Please take your trash with you folks. Come ON!!
There are no words I could say to tell you how emotional this site is. I was moved. Right down to the dove landing on the unrepentant mans cross. Beautiful!

I could not find anywhere on here that actually says it costs $30 to get into the park to see this. Imagine how pissed I was when I drove an hour out of my way to see this to find out it did cost to see. At this point in my trip, I was not paying for pictures of rocks.
