This was a really good place! It is well worth the detour! It’s in kind of an industrial area that worries us a little bit but was SOOO good! It’s attached to a butcher shop. Everything is clean and has a nice vibe to it!
The room was nice and updated and the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the family suite has bunk beds which was nice! My only complaint was the breakfast. First you have to pay for a breakfast buffet. $6.99 for adults and $3.99 for kids. I am happy to pay for good food but honestly I’ve had better food offered as a complimentary breakfast. The eggs were powdered, the gravy was canned. Potatoes were ok and the biscuits ok, not great. Canned fruit, toast and cereal. Nothing was seasoned. Drinks cost extra with only water being offered as part of the price. Spend your money elsewhere, go to Denny’s or something.
This place was really cool! Our whole family had a great time, found some great crystals, enjoyed the tour and the zip line. We spent all day here (even though it was super hot and humid). The staff was SO nice! They were nice to my kids, friendly and helpful. If you’re going to do the zip line, buy the unlimited pass. You can zip line (1/4 mile) all day, dig and do the tour. For lunch we drove Dow the road and ate some very good Mexican food. I highly recommend this for a family day of fun!
It was an ok stop. I think it would have been more fun had it not been so hot. We didn’t find much of anything and the younger kids (8-13) were bored after an hour. The facility is nice, the staff is friendly. I would like to go again in cooler weather.
This was a great stop for us, my boys loved climbing on the rocks as. Seeing the waterfall! The park was clean and had good facilities. The tower was fun to go up in. We will be stopping again next time we are in the area!
