I’ll give this place two stars for location and the nice bathroom in the lobby. That’s about all I can say in it’s favor. First, we rolled up around 90 minutes before check-in time with a screaming, tired toddler and a dog, hoping they could let us take our room a little early. No dice. On top of that, I had specifically requested a first floor room when I booked over three weeks ago. We’re driving cross-country and, with two kids and a dog, have a ton of stuff I didn’t want to shlep upstairs. They switched us to a first floor room, but rather than get a nice room for our trouble, they stick us in a back room with a window facing a wall and with cabins from the adjacent property looking right down into our room. With that being the case, you would assume they would pay special attention to the window coverings, right? Nope. The solid curtains DON’T CLOSE ALL THE WAY. Not because they’re broken ... that’s how they are designed. I’m serious. Who designs curtains to only close halfway?!? So all that’s between us and people in cabins above looking down in is a sheer. Add to this that the carpet is from the 70s and it smells like a dog pooped all over the place ... well, just spare yourself the misery.
