Beautiful and totally off the beaten path! Not many spots though, so get there as early as you can. We arrived around 4pm on a Sunday and there were only a couple sites open, which quickly filled up.

Awful. We went in July and there were mayflies EVERYWHERE convering everything including our car, tent and us. Stank because of the lake. Also Lake Erie was too contaminated to swim in. Skip it. Get a hotel.
