It was a little tight for RV space, not much privacy. And at stop #8 on the shuttle bus we hoped for a special 3 miles hike. Hike as in make our way up land on a trail that is uneven or of rugged terrain. All of the shuttle buses take you to these paved attractions , very few felt like a hike. Except the Waterfall Tears, which was well worth it. Tho taking the social path from 8 to 7 was a little boring ~ it was nice. Until I almost stepped on a Boa Constrictor about 10-12’ long! If it hadn’t been for my strong & quick thinking son, I would’ve taken my step onto the snakes head!

I had leaned over to put a flower against a large dark boulder & was focused on that. It was very quiet, no other people did this walk. Only buses & bikes passed us! So it was very quiet & my husband & our 2 young adult sons are sort of lagging behind. Then as if out of thin air I feel these 2 big hands grab the sides of my arms & lifts me up & out into the air! And I was so frightened! I screamed like it was a kidnapping! But thankfully not, because I’m not sure which was more scary, my scream or when I realize I nearly stepped on a 10-12 foot boa constrictor on the side of the road. I keep hearing my son repeating, screaming, “MOM! Snake!” MOM! Watch out for the snake ! We have pics too !
