I saw this statue twice.....The first time, I came upon it by accident, while visiting my boyfriend in NYC. The second time, after I had moved here, I searched for hours and hours to find it. When I finally did, it wasn't at all like I remembered it...... But glorious all the same. I love this statue because I used to imagine that the characters came alive at night and would move around the park...then in the morning, they'd be in a different place. Now that I live in NYC, I KNOW that is what happens. I mean, stranger things HAVE happened here!
