I started out with great hopes for this CG. It is owned by veterans and it's new and has terrific potential. What I I didn't notice is that they didn't mention showers or bathrooms. THEY DON'T HAVE ANY!!!! We were traveling south in our motorhome and were still winterized. We were hoping to be able to shower and freshen up on the last night before reaching our destination. We travel south every year with no water usage because we've gotten caught in freezing temps often. I have to say I was disappointed about the bathroom situation. The rest of the campground looks like it has great potential, as long as they put in restrooms and showers. (PS I don't know what the tenters do, and don't want to ask)

I'm sure this will be a nice park when they are done, but right now still under construction. It looks like there will be many more sites but it was good for an overnight. Very close to the highway, which is really convenient, but there is road noise. Not enough to keep me awake though. Sites are level and gravel, more level than some paved sites I've been on. I can sort of recommend it if you're just stopping for the night. The price for one night was $50. We'll probably stop again when we are passing through and update the review.

Very very rustic!! But I love it. We were in site # 70 which is one of the closest to the river. Unfortunately it was a rainy day and the river was all fogged in, but it still feels almost magical to watch all the water flow. This place may not be for everyone, if you're looking for all the amenities of a fancy resort, but if you would rather feel a little more " roughing it" this is a great place. Because of COVID the office is closed, so I didn't get to see what they might have there. The bathrooms are also rustic, and old, but clean. The laundry is free! Yippee. I like it.

We needed to make several trips to Rochester, NY for medical reasons and needed a place to stay. Since we have a 25' motorhome, the accommodation part was a no brainer. The where also became easy when we found this KOA. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are also very nice and clean. On the downside, the bathrooms are not ADA compliant, but not an issue for me, just something to be aware of. The very best part, though,is the people. Everyone there is so, so helpful. I have had to add days, change days, and they are extremely polite,( like not telling me I'm a pain in the neck‍) but seriously, they do everything they can to help. There are a lot of trees, so it really feels like camping. However, tough to get a satellite signal with so many trees. Depends on what you like. There's no cable, which is an upgrade I hope they try, and over the air signal is marginal at best. They do have terrific WiFi. The city of Canandaigua is just a couple of miles away, and absolutely adorable. We loved walking around looking at all the beautiful old buildings. Sonnenberg Gardens is a lovely way to spend a day. Be sure to check out the mansion. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because of the cable. This is a great location and a great place to stay.
