The VC was closed but the interpretive signs were great explaining the events of the battle and why it was significant. It's' a beautiful location and worth the stop.

I made it to the museum before they opened for the day, but I walked around the grounds and enjoyed the scenery and the interpretive signs. Very informative.

Great hot spring in the river with super easy approach. The CCC building is really cool, too.

This park site gives you an incredible look into the human history of this part of the country. Very fascinating to see carvings from people over hundreds of years. The hike up on top of the butte is also great. A wonderful stop worth the detour for any NPS geeks.

VC was closed due to COVID but a Ranger was still available to give directions. I love this park site for its geological history as well as the wilderness aspect to it. Enjoy the silence and solitude.

When I showed up they were closed, but a gentleman (Steven, I think?) came out and gave me a tour. The artifacts they have inside and outside of the building were fantastic. The gentleman even gave me printed directions to an Air Mail arrow up Rt 66.
A very cool stop if you're into aviation history.

Gorgeous hiking. Make sure you have a GPS with you as there is no real trail. There's an interpretive sign at the fence opening that gives you beta on the different features in the area.
