There was a little office that I visited to get info, but not much of a VC. If you have an NPS Passport, you will LOVE the stamp for this site.
This was a fantastic detour and one of the best parts of the trip. Def take this drive. I can't wait to go back to mountain bike.

I felt like Marty McFly being taken back to 1955. Lots of knick-knacks in the cafe, but I was the only customer, which was a little awkward.
Wonderful VC and helpful staff. While this is the location of the VC, they have many different sites throughout the area.
A great hike with lots of information along the way. It was really interesting to learn about how the USFS has fought fires as well as the specifics of the fire that burned this area.

Just wandering around town I stopped in. They gave me some good beta for fishing as well as good jam and honey to buy.
