Parking is in Lot F, with F-1 serving buses and F-2 primarily for RV's and large trucks. An expansive sloping gravel lot can accommodate any size rig after a short steep climb up the hilltop. Our experience included a windy afternoon that continued until the early hours of the next morning. A friend cut their visit short due to motion sickness of the rocking trailer in the open unprotected terrain. Several lights illuminate the lot throughout the night and multiple security cameras can be seen mounted on the poles. Although there were 6 other vehicles in the lot, I did not see or hear any activity in the area. Upon arrival, I called Cache Creek to report my presence, but received a response that leads me to believe it wasn't necessary. My primary purpose there was to enjoy the beautiful golf course. It was wonderful to retreat to our trailer after the round and enjoy a nice meal in the casino. I look forward to doing it again, I just hope it's not as windy. Transportation from the RV lot to the golf course, casino and return was provided via a courtesy shuttle by making a simple phone call to request a ride.
Easy in and out of facility and numerous pull-thru sites. The park can handle any size RV. Restrooms were very clean despite drainage problem in the shower which overflowed to another drain. Overall peaceful but at times the freeway noise was too noticeable. The park is 75% permanent occupancy. Wireless internet had strong signal, but signal would fail and reconnect every few minutes which made streaming impossible but web browsing, email retrieval tolerable. The park is next to casino, coffee shop, Jack in the Box, Sinclair gas/store and a café (good $4.99 breakfast).
We used this location to explore other RV parks north toward Graeagle and south to North Lake Tahoe for future RV trip considerations. Would stay here again if had reason to be in the area.
