It was neat to see the ships cruising the river....But there is a 2 lane road in front of the campground, between the campsites and river. So you also have a lot of road noise. There is also no shade along the road. Not a lot of shade at all. Wasn't the friendliest bunch either. We stayed for a night, i wouldn't have stayed for 2. Not much to do either.
Took us in after a bad experience at The Beach House. the hotel room was clean. It was quit. Had the end room and had the balcony to ourselves. Not far from all the tourist stuff and a beautiful view of the bridge.
It was a beautiful bridge and an experience. $4 to cross one way seemed a bit much tho. But it was cool to go over it.
Awesome view!!! it was well worth the $1 to go to the top. They even let the dog go with me. It is a bit on the rundown side but an awesome experience.
We didn't take the tour, but it was in a beautiful park you could walk through. A great place to watch the sunset behind the bridge. A great stop to take pictures.

Nice KOA. it was easy to get parked. It was quit. Shower houses were clean. Caught some blue gill in the pond. had a nice stay.
DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! This was the grossest hotel i have ever seen. $160 a night got you 2 dirty beds, a sticky table, dirty floors and peeling wallpaper. Thats when you notice the smell. This place was so gross. I went to get a refund and they refuse to give you your money back. The guy at the counter said sorry there is nothing i can do. He also told me that he had been dealing with unhappy customers most of the day and had no idea of the condition of his hotel. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK HERE!!
This was a great park. The lake views were great and close to the camping area. The shower houses were neat and clean. Stayed for one night and it was a great stay.
This museum was a blast. I love camping and looking at campers, especially old ones like this that you don't see anymore. I also built my teardrop camper, so to see some of these home built rigs was awesome! I loved this place! They will also let you bring your dog in as long as you carry it or have a stroller for it. It was nice to be able to look around and not have to rush because the dog was in the car. Great stop!!

We rented a deluxe cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed in it. Ended up enjoying the area so much we stayed 2 nights. Caught several small bass from the pond. Great stay and super friendly.
