A very nice and friendly park. Sites are on a hill so there are many levels. Nicely forested with mature trees. Very pretty.
We rented a deluxe cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed in it. Ended up enjoying the area so much we stayed 2 nights. Caught several small bass from the pond. Great stay and super friendly.
This is one of the very best campgrounds we’ve ever visited. Staff is great, everything is clean, grounds are gorgeous. On site bbq is simple, well priced, and delicious! Campground store has everything you may need including Hershey’s ice cream, which is our favorite! 4 washers and 4 dryers in laundry room. Each RV site has a fire pit, picnic table, and full hookups. Priced well for a KOA. Also, there is a pool, large game room, gem mining, outdoor ping pong table, horse shoes, volley ball, big playground, bathrooms on both sides of the park, propane, firewood, and ice. Shout out to the owners who we see working right along with their staff doing every job. The staff loves it here and we can see why!

We stopped for one night on our way from NY to FL. We booked a site with a fenced in yard for our pups. It was amazing. We were greeted upon arrival and escorted to out site. We ordered food and ice delivered right to our site. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Beautiful campground, clean facilities and the most amazing shower after a long drive. We will be back.

Checked in and to get to the site was not easy steep and not good for our 42 ft coach. Power Ped did not work... Had to move after having to argue with the guy that they one line of the outlet was not working... He had no idea of the space required to move a larger coach.. Ended up having to leave the park and to all the way to the interstate just to turn around.
Finally got parked again and all was well after that... smaller rigs will be ok...
Pretty area and campground... Just not for larger coaches...

Gorgeous, out of the way campground ! Little tight to navigate, but have definitely seen worse. Very quiet and slow paced. Camp store is one of the finest I’ve seen. Reasonably priced for a camp store. Didn’t get to stay long, as it was a drive through, but would definitely come back !! Only down side was the price.Would’ve been 5 stars, but $63 dollars for a Sunday night. One little night. Seems quite steep, and could’ve found a hotel room cheaper. But, needing a place to hook up and take a shower...Thanks for being here KOA !!

Have stayed here three times. Once on verge of winter when I was likely the only one there. Once in spring when the mountain laurels were in bloom. Once in summer.
Had a great site the last two times, one with lots of shade and privacy. All three times, the site was good, the campground quiet. The store can arrange a great pizza.
The restrooms are clean.

The owners of this campground definitely take pride in ownership. The grounds are immaculate, and they clearly love gardening with the lovely plants and decorations. We stayed over the Memorial holiday and it was peaceful. We really enjoyed the beauty of the campground and nearby state parks and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The campground is tiered on a hillside with a variety of spots from tents to big pull throughs. The staff is very friendly and they have amazing home smoked brisket and pork sandwiches at the store. We had good cell service and streamed on Verizon without a problem.

Very friendly staff. Constantly cleaning and patrolling the park. Helped us to back in. Clean facilities. Dog run at site was large, but gravel and dirt. Common area dog run was grass covered with water bowl.
Hilly park. Many activities canceled due to COVID19.
Quiet park. Great WiFi to stream Netflix and stream video conferencing. Secluded shady site.
