This park is huge! While visiting, you can walk to the history museum, art museum, and zoo. You could spend all day here! Plenty of trails for a simple stroll through the park, too. The park is surrounded by beautiful historic architecture that adds to the charm.
If you’re in the area and want some sunshine, check out Carondelet Park! Lots of dog-friendly paths that meander through the park. There is also plenty of open green space for activities along with a few ponds that allow fishing. You’ll likely see some geese and ducks while you visit, too.
This is a neat destination if you’re looking for a quick roadside stop. There aren’t any trails, but there is a paved walkway that takes you over the creek and down into the basin where you can view the waterfall. If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk behind the waterfall, but be careful - it can get a little slick back there! There are plenty of parking spots and handful of picnic tables near the top, too.
Fun for a nice day hike. The trail is easy going with some really sunny patches that come out of the woods. There’s a nice Ohio River lookout in a clearing with some benches. This would be a good place for a picnic. There’s not much to do other than the hiking trail, so I don’t think you’d spend a whole day here.
The views from the observation deck are beautiful. They give you a new perspective of the Queen City that you need to experience first hand! It’s so neat to look down at Vine Street snaking all the way through downtown, Over the Rhine, and up onto the hills of Clifton. Plus the view of historic Northern Kentucky is great. I highly recommend this for a quick stop while visiting downtown Cincinnati.
Very clean & friendly atmosphere. One of the better maintained bars in Mainstrasse. Good selection of beer and decent happy hour deals. The patio is spacious, so you can fit a whole party of people outside for some giant Jenga if the weather is nice.
