We visited the site on April 10th and it was still closed for the winter so we weren’t able to tour the inside. However we snuck thru the gates and we able to get up close to see the massive structure. It’s 27 miles from Baker City on sometimes windy roads. Closer to the site you can see the miles of tailings piled up. Worth the drive!
