Nice older city park with shelter houses, playground equipment, baseball diamonds, and electricity and water. You would need a 50’ hose or more to reach the water, but it is available. This site could host 7 or more campers. It’s nice and quiet being next to the highway which is 35 mph here. The exception is when the train comes by and blows its whistle. It didn’t wake me in the night but it’s fairly loud during the day. Good place to stop. There are restaurants within an easy walk and a nice Kansas town atmosphere.
They offer weekly and monthly rates as well although I didn’t get the specifics. I was able to get a full hookup site on a walk in basis. Nice place with security patrolling on a regular basis. The casino is very nice. Smoke and alcohol free. The campground is also alcohol free.

While there is plenty of noise from the highway and the train tracks nearby, the view was as pretty as this girl has seen on my cross country trek. Snow capped mountain in the distance and the blue green Salton Sea made for a pretty picture to wake up to. Small nature trail but it can be extended for as long as a walk as you want.

Popular place on weekends in the spring. The scenery being close to mountains and a pretty lake were about all this place offers. Saw lots of people fishing, but not many catching. The lake is also the cities drinking water so you can’t put any kind of boat into it. I had a neighbor who was outside swearing at someone at 3am. And on the other side was a guy in a tent playing music and singing loudly but not well.

I was here a hear ago and they were having water problems. They still are. You can dump but water vending is not available and neither is rinse or any other water. Bathrooms are closed. There’s an outhouse outside.
