Really good. Fun planetarium show and good collection of fossil, and beautiful geology samples.
Great place for kids! Between recreations of early electrical demonstrations, the 4D theater, and all the interactive displays, you could easily spend 2 hours here.

Lots of activities, and right in the middle of the Hills.
First off, there is a lot to do at this campground. There are a lot of activities for the kids from mini golf, movies, playgrounds, waterslides, pools, and even trail rides. It also includes a very well stocked camp store, pizza and icecream shop, fudge and wine shops too. We've stayed in a Cabin, and it was a great vacation.
Secondly, it is located right in the middle of the Black Hills. Keystone and Hill City are nearly the same distance away. You are very close to Mt. Rushmore, and even Custer and Rapid City are close.
The downsides are that it is a very large campground and has some problems as a result. First, long walking distances to get to a lot of the activities. Many of the camping sites are very small, and there are often too few staff and the ones that are there are overworked.
I would recommend for a longer-term camping experience, particularly if you have a big-rig or rent a cabin. Not a great experience for a pop-up camper just moving through.
