Great place for an evening walk or a run. Great people-watching. Beautiful views of the river. Interesting history too.

Stayed here on a trip back from Myrtle Beach for an overnight in the Richmond area. Only about 20 minute drive from downtown attractions like Belle Isle and Maymont Park. Surrounded by a sprawling, beautiful golf course. Secluded from the local highway, suburban sprawl bustle. Fantastic service. Even provided a pack n play for our little one. Room was super clean and comfortable. Price was great too (especially if you have a Wyndham Perks membership). Will be our new home base when travelling to or through Richmond and the surrounding areas.
