Rooms were updated around 2013 from what it sounds like. Nice rooms and a decent price. Only negative for me was the smell in the lobby (smelt like urine), but the room smelt fine.

Nice stop between Bismarck and Medora. No bathrooms at the cow's location, but a great view! (Two gas stations right off highway for potty/refreshments)

Great stop! Shopping, restrooms, a playground, a shelter, and a photo op. What more could a family ask for!?
