O.K. do call ahead if you are going to go. This isn't a big attraction with a crowd of people. It is a simple place where you are taken personally on a tour of the property and you get close to birds and animals. They have some exotic animals and some native one's like deer and ferrets. Some of the deer are basically tame and with supervision you can pet and feed them. After learning about and seeing some up close you ride a "mule" 4 wheeler farther back on the farm and see deer in natural habitat. Also there is a pond where you get to feed ducks and catfish. I will say this is a good place for children or people interested in animals. It is a bit tricky to find. Make sure to follow directions on their website and if you come down the farm to market road from the north you won't see it. This is not at all on a scale like Fossil Rim, but for the price of a movie ticket you get up close to animals and learn specifics about each one. Takes a bit over an hour to see it all. Hope you enjoy the owners welcome and tour of the property like we did.

FOTPAM Museum's Steve and Linda Kay hope the aviation museum will provide area school children with a learning laboratory for aviation education. With a variety of displays, they are making a special effort to recognize community leaders who have contributed to Gilmer's heritage through aviation.

We rode this trail from the Marshall Ave. trailhead north for about 2.5 miles. It goes through the woods and every now and again you come across a park or another trailhead. It's a nice trail that is easy to ride and has many things to look at along the way.
