I wasn't very impressed with this place. The staff was friendly enough, but not personable. Our second to last night there the shower handle fell off and the lady at the desk said she'd have maintenance fix it. Maintenance just pushed it back into the wall and it fell off again. We didn't bother telling them. The water pressure and temperature are terrible. The water pressure I understand because it's a very old building. The beds are very comfortable. I slept soundly every night. Our room was very small, which I think was because we booked a very fair price from hotels.com. Based on the description we were expecting a lot more than we got. I would never pay full price for this place. Go down for breakfast early if you want to eat. Going down at 8 or 9 there is nothing left, sometimes not even coffee.
I like this place a lot. It's not a modern, upscale hotel. There is literally nothing fancy, so if you're looking for that don't come here. This place is a mom and pop, vintage, cozy hotel. I loved this place. I was so comfortable here. I didn't meet the owners because they were on vacation, but the staff that was helping out was super friendly. I highly recommend asking for an extra blanket and pillows. I'll definitely stay here again
