Wish I could give no stars—the worst and most uncomfortable hotel I’ve ever been in here in Ireland (and I’ve been to several during a few trips). Moved after one night to a fabulous and less expensive spa on Fota island (about 10 miles away, the other side of Cork), where we were treated like royalty and pampered. Don’t stay at the Blarney!

Beautiful views, but not worth £8 to cross a bridge..a rope bridge at that, to a tiny island. £4 or maybe £5...they know what they’re doing though, whoever runs it is probably making a fortune.
