Loved the history. Google it first so you know what your seeing. It is a tourist attraction but love how they try to keep it alive. Cute photo ops. Beautiful scenery. Fun stop. Glad we went.
Worth the stop. My 10 year old loved sliding down the dunes. Go to Walmart to buy the dish for sliding for $5 thou. The ones there are expensive. They do have a buy back option thou cause you only use it while your there so up to you. Beautiful and a one of a kind sight.
I don't think a review is even necessary. I think you know of this is something you want to see or not. Beautiful is an understatement. Loved it. Loved the pictures I got. Would love to camp or stay longer. Is truly an impressive site. I say go, do as much as you can. Enjoy it as much as possible. Would love to go back. ❤️❤️❤️
Very glad we stopped!! This stop prompted us to buy a national park annual pass. If you don't visit the south side visitor center you will miss the Petrified Forest. We took our time and eased thru the park. I got amazing pictures. We found it all very interesting and informative. My 10 year old loved it. It's not something you see everyday. Some of the pictures I got I plan to have printed on canvas for my house. It even rained and stormed while we were there which I found to be to soothing. Not everyday you see a desert storm. It wasn't a steady rain we were able to get it and walk around and just enjoyed it immensely. MUST STOP! ❤️❤️
Hotel was ok. Nothing fancy. The room next to us had a dog that barked a good bit every time someone walked down the hallway. Our room did not have a microwave or mini fridge. Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of options but ok. For the money I guess it was fair. We checked in late and left early so it served the purpose for us. For anything longer I would pick differently.
It was a spur of the moment stop for us and we didn't find it over priced at all. They don't dollar you to death, one price takes care of all the features. It was very nice and informative. We really enjoyed this stop. The facilities are nice and well kept. I was impressed at how easily everything was assessable with shallow stairs. Think if you are into science and nature and just the mystery of it all this is a must. NASA supports it. Loved it. I really like how well it was preserved. Glad they don't disturb it any more than absolutely necessary.
Not bad I guess. Isn't luxury by any means but we all slept ok. The second building doesn't have an elevator just stairs so keep that in mind and breakfast is not the best. Cereal, oatmeal, waffles and cold donuts.
Other than that it was clean.
We were getting loaded up and I went back up to the room and housekeeping was already cleaning before we checked out. That is frustrating to me.
Amazing! Is a must especially if you or your child is into engineering and history. One of those times where pictures dont do it justice. Beautiful.
By far the nicest hotel we've had the pleasure to stay in and very reasonably priced! Rooms were amazing, large and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. If you need a hotel for your family or any reason...this is the one!
I've always wanted to go! Got to go and take my family. We had a blast! It is big and I got my steps in for sure but worth every step. Best zoo experience I've ever had. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. My cousin lives in San Diego and she takes her kids almost weekly. So much to see and do. Can make a good day of it or spread it out. We had a friendly man greet us at the gate and give us tips on what to do in what order so we didn't waste time trying to figure out where we were. The bus tour is amazing. The sky-tram was fun. The 4d was awesome! I would go again!! Loved it!! If you like pics and memories I recommend the story package. They will take pictures of you and your family all over the park and you can download for free along with get prints. That was my souvenir and I couldn't be happier!! ❤️❤️❤️
