Don’t go out of your way to find it, unless you truly love just being able to say ‘I’ve been there’ during normal dinner conversations. ;)

Truly a magnificent place! Spent about two hours here, but didn’t begin to cover all the trails available. Incredible that it is free as well! Very large gift shop, cafe, and ‘mining’ for semi precious stones. If you’re a ‘pressed penny’ collector, you can commemorate your trip with one here! Don’t miss this incredible place!!

A memorable experience from my youth, and the second time around was even better! Sharing it with my own children ages 8 and 10, was wonderful! They enjoyed every aspect of it. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for the movie, but really enjoyed the boat tour down the river. Allow enough time between trip to the top, movie, or boat ride as your trip up might not end up being at your scheduled time. Also, you can save just a little if you remember to bring your National Park Pass. (I forgot ours.😏)
A must-see stop!!

No longer the worlds largest McDonald’s, as it shares the space with Subway, a convenience store, and a small gift shop. However, it’s still fun to stand right over top of the Highway and watch cars go underneath you. A large bronze statue of Will Rogers makes a great photo op, and if you are a “pressed penny“collector, you can get a pressed quarter to add to your collection. A fun, unique stop that’s not out of the way at all!
