We saw buffalo here which was VERY cool. We swam in an area, not sure what its called, however it was pretty gross. There were shrimp-like things swimming all around... When we got to our hotel an hour later we found the shrimp things in our bathing suits EW. This was in August of 2014. It was our first time visiting the great salt lake and I'm not sure if the water is usually this yucky but I wouldn't swim in it again.
Overall the area was BEAUTIFUL, I definitely recommend visiting.
Me and my family had a great time here in August of 2014. We stayed in the covered wagons which was SO fun. The showers and bathrooms were nice and clean, along with our wagon.
The pool was a little worn down and there were some VERY rowdy guests, the pool was very cold too. However, I believe I read a sign saying the pool was being repaired. The food was very bland however and I don't believe the chef used any spices .. As we were leaving we saw some spices for the guests to use.
This place is nice and close to Zion and would stay here again if the pool was fixed!
