We were trying to find another restaurant but because of the rain we sought out shelter here. Little to find out, we find the place packed but the owner gave us only about a 10 minute wait and gave us coffee while we waited. We started out with beignets, but being from the south no one does them better than Louisiana. Haha, but! The food was amazing and so was the wait staff. I got chicken and biscuits which was a huge portion and full of all the soul you could ever want. My wife got some healthy thing with poached eggs or something (it was The Classic Bennie but I just like making fun of her-she’s amazing-shameless plug.)
Neeways, this was an amazing place to get out of the rain but an even more amazing restaurant. So if you’re looking for an incredible, small diner feel breakfast joint, it’s worth the stop.
We were just passing through but found the beer flight, atmosphere and food were all amazing. Definite stop if you’re here. I’m a huge Cubano Sandwich kinda person and my wife is healthier than most. I had the Cuban sandwich and she had the avocado toast salad. Both were really good and tasted very fresh. The beers were great as well as that beer battered bacon-but what can get any better?? Am I right? 2 hand claps and a salute.
Also, the person that said it was freaking amazing-they were right!
