NOT PET FRIENDLY!
I didn’t actually get to see this place, because I was traveling with my dog. There are posted signs everywhere stating that dogs are not allowed on the trail, but since this website says its pet friendly I didn’t know that until I drove all the way out there and signed in at the register.

This place is not as much of a ghost town as described. In fact, it’s still inhabited and -probably because of so many claims that it’s something to check out - there are so many No Tresspassing signs, Surveillance warnings. Just leave these people alone, it’s not something to spend your time seeing.
