Great stay. Super friendly staff, right across the street from tacoma mall so there are plenty of places to eat and pick up stuff. No fitness center but the laundry room is good and the room is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent stay, best of our trip. The spa and pool are really nice. Our room was well decorated and comfortable. The pizza place, starbucks, and gas station right outside were the best, I recommend the "salad" pizza. One thing I thought was funny was the pet policy says that pates are not allowed on the furniture including the bed... I don't think the person who wrote that has ever owned a pet because it is next to impossible. We would definitely stay again.
This is the tiniest hotel in a tiny tiny town. I never saw more than one employee. Mostly truckers and hunters were there. The room had an odd smell to it, and had an interesting lay out overall. The weatherstripping at the bottom of the door had come off in part so we could hear everything outside like the door was open including all the cattle and shipping trucks at the gas station across the street. It took me 10 minutes to find the one employee to check out in the morning. For one night we got over our issues, but I would not stay longer than that.
There was a conference going on so it was sometimes a while to get someone at the front desk to help, and they did not know how to help with It so I had to call a hotline myself. It took almost an hour working with IT to get on the internet. The TV also had cable connection issues but there was nothing to be done about that. The room was cluttered and difficult to find places to put our stuff that wasn't in the way. We were also woke up at 1:50am by a man shouting in the hallway. The restaurant was good for dinner but I was surprised they did not offer a buffet breakfast at all let alone included. Toast was $1.45... toast. Maybe if there were fewer people or the layout was better I would like it better but for this trip it was just ok.
Had a great stay here. The staff was nice and took care of us. The room was clean, not cluttered, and very comfortable. Amenities included a great little gym, restaurant and bar, an enclosed atrium and an outdoor atrium. I would definitely stay here again.
Underwhelming to say the least. It is located right of the freeway which is convenient for the road trip, but otherwise was not a great stay. The front desk person was limited with information about the area. We are traveling with pets and we had to stay on the second floor (no elevator to speak of) in the middle of a long hallway, so we had to walk a long, unventilated hallway to stairs down another hallway to a door that edited to the back of a pool we had to walk around to get to parking.This made the several trips to the car and back quite the journey. The hot smelly hallway lead to a small, oddly decorated room with a tub stained with use by dirty feet. For some reason the water had a higher-than-a-swimming-pool taste of chlorine and the shower ran out of hot water after about ten minutes. The serve yourself breakfast was lackluster and waffles were terrible. The patrons from what I could see where mostly truckers passing through. I know I will not stay here again. Maybe the hampton inn behind it will be a better experience.
