This was the first pet friendly hotel I stayed in for a 4 day road trip from Florida to Idaho.
The price was fair at a Gov rate but the area is in the wrong part of town. Lots of homeless asking for money and shady characters around the building and surrounding area.
Signs in the parking lot even say the hotel isn't responsible for missing items or damage to your vehicle.
My room was a bit damaged from age and of course it being pet friendly which was expected. I came with my 55lb dog and there was no pet fee.
Continental breakfast was completely raided an hour before closing and the only thing available was coffee at that point.
Late night and morning staff were kind and courteous though.
Fitness center was a treadmill with broken tread, elliptical, bike and adjustable bench with missing dumbbells ranging from 10-50lbs.
2 stars because you get what you pay for and there are cheaper, worse options. If you need a place for you and your dog to stay though for cheap and don't mind living in the best conditions it'll work. Go elsewhere for the extra $10-$20 though.
