This is a fun stop on a road trip. Great pic opportunity.
The view is great and it is cool to see the history. The park was under construction so the museum was closed that was unfortunate. My girls were a little freaked out at the top but agreed it was worth the trip.
I agree with everyone that said these types of attractions make road trips fun. However, if you an attraction like this you should at least have a spot to get a picture. I had to run across a busy road to snap a pic. The set-up could be better.
Must see! We stopped in the morning to hike around and see the park. It is amazing. We then went back that night for the Sam Smith concert. We expected long delays getting in and out but everything went smooth and the event staff did a great job. Our daughters had a great time.
This was disappointing. $28 for an unfinished monument and overpriced gift shop. The story is nice but you don't really get to see it up close. You can take a pic from the road. If you want a closer look you have to pay extra. Not worth it.
Definitely stop to see the badlands but note that there is prairie dog holes right before you enter the badlands. You don't have to drive the extra 4 miles on a bumpy narrow gravel road to see them.
The best part about this hotel was the staff. Very friendly. It was clean and right off the highway by Al's Oasis. It was fine for one night but not for a long stay. The fitness room equipment did not work and the pool was cloudy. Sleep only.
The pictures don't do it justice. This was a nice walk, very scenic with wildlife. Worth the stop.
This was a fun stop to stretch legs and get a photo. Would be great if they had camera ledges. The small gift shop was cute.
