Absolutely love visiting Badlands National Park. They offer such cool things to do like feed the prairie dogs and walk the rugged trails. Have been every year since 2016 and it still takes my breath away the moment I see it coming into focus from the distance.
There are no words to describe what it is like to stand where history has taken place, where Indian warriors, American soldiers and their horses have lost their lives in the very short but violent battle. The entrance fee is $25 per vehicle and it's worth every penny to be able to gain knowledge about this historical place.
I was here for the first time in May of 2018. It was a spontaneous decision to stop here but I'm so glad that we did. The entrance fee was $10 a person then. I belive its $12 a person now. That's my only complaint. I think it's a little pricey for what you get. It's a very cool place to experience. It was so cool we went back in July of 2019. It was just as neat the second time through. I would recommend this place for anyone who might be passing by. Stop in and you wont regret it.
