On display here are several artifacts that once belonged to President Grant, including his presidential strongbox, the gloves he wore at his first inauguration in 1869 and his wallet (minus any dead presidents). Also on display is a lock of Grant's hair that his wife Julia placed in a black onyx locket and wore around her neck after Grant's death in 1885. Learn more at www.usgrantbirthplace.org
