Super friendly staff. Sites are not very private or wooded but facilities are nice. Clean bathrooms/shower, laundry room. Delivered firewood and ice to site as needed. Site 11 backs up to the woods although it is next to a house.

Meticulously clean bathrooms, propane grill to use on site, & nice camp store. But, most of all super friendly staff that gave us pointers on the local site to explore.
Off the beaten path but worth the drive. Scenery is beautiful with ample options for hiking.

Admittedly there are not a lot of campgrounds in this area and we needed to pull off the highway for the night. This place was very creepy. Only takes cash payments. Laundry room and bathroom are a joke. They are located in a shed. Bathroom has one toilet/shower with a cement floor, hanging light bulb and shower curtain. We did not use it! The campground is basically an unwooded parking lot. Site was gravel and level. Water hookup was sketch. We did not use it. Lots of highway noise. WE did not go outside after dark. Locked the doors and pulled down the shades. We would have slept better at the Days Inn.

Right outside of Asheville but hard to get to using GPS. You need to rely on the directions in the emaiul NOT GPS. Beautiful camping sites. Quiet. Level sites. Be bear aware.

Beautiful large campground ample wooded sites. We were in the B loop. Many options to hike in the campground. Be bear aware.

Clean, manicured campground. Bathrooms were alright--- shower had a 30 second push button. Nice little lake to walk around. Nice camp store. Pleasant staff. Gravel level sites. No tree cover. No designated dump station but all sites are full hookup. Gas station on site with diesel. A little highway noise but not bad. I imagine this campground is very busy in season as it is family friendly and great for kids.
