I really enjoyed our Tamaki Moari Village Cultural Experience. From the bus drive (and the bus driver telling stories and singing songs) to the village where we learnt in groups various aspects of Moari culture. Really memorable!
The Library was such a lifesaver. We took the ferry to Auckland City from Half-Moon Bay and I forgot my cellphone that had mobile data on. We needed wifi. Where do you go when you need help? The library! We got wifi and the library had a bunch of awesome pamphlets and maps. Walked around the library - it is what a library should be - a community, a place where you can get help and information and it being accessible. Coffee shop, reading corners, information desks, tables, computers, programmes and events that can be attended.
