All I got to say is Bad...Bad...bad. We were on our way home from our vacation and it was getting late so we decided to stop for the night . I Like to stay at Independent Places. The office had a funny smell to it. As we went to our room there was old Furniture all Around. A Couple of people on the Jungle Gym smoking a joint. The was also people hanging out getting loud and drinking all over the place. The rooms were also bad. Old sheets the room itself was falling apart, The Bathroom was old and dirty and there was a bad smell in it. Do yourself a favor...go somewhere else
On our trip to the smokey mountains I decided to take a small detour and Visit the Birthplace of KFC. It was interesting and a good place to stop for lunch. For us it was a very small detour but well worth it. But I do have to say don't make a big detour. Its a good stop along the way.
We were on our way on a family vacation and needed to stop for the night. I saw this on the web and it met our mileage goal for the night.
All in all it was Clean convenient, The only things i saw was the night manager did not seem to have a clue what he was doing. took for ever to check in, and I was pulling my camper and asked where I could park it and seem confused so I found a place. Another thing that bothered us was the a/c in the room was set so cold that the room was bed and floors were damp. The Floors was also really dirty. But for the price it was decent.
