Kachina dill was nice BUT across the street there is a nice park with a old train engine, a miner statue....good place to walk around and good photo opps. I posted some of those pics as well!
We weren’t able to check out the trading posts...they were closed. But honestly the historical marker was why we stopped. Heading west exit 44...the app gave bad directions. It was right off the highway and actually had a marker on each side of the highway. Good photo opp.
Amazing views. Cold and windy at the top. Saw the sunset. This is a must do!!
Museum has a great collection an the owner was super nice. We are at the diner and was really good too and super friendly. There is a dog run outside for those traveling with pups. Good stop.

Getting there at 4am and it being dark was a bit scary. You have to turn down a dirt road though the woods and end up in the middle of nowhere along the highway. It was super dark and there was just a slab stamped in the middle. Cool but kinda weird. No signs or anything to show you you’ve come to the right place. The gps was spot on though. You think you are going to the casino but...turn left into the woods. Creepy but correct!

Amazing sight to see. Worth the stop. The cross is HUGE and can be seen from the highway. This stop is right off the highway.
