I'm not a music buff, but the guitar history exhibit (and display) was cool. The Nirvana/Punk exhibit brought me back to adolescence. I was especially excited about the sci fi/fantasy exhibits. My faves were pieces from Stargate SG-1, The Matrix, and Doctor Who, Snow White and the Huntsman, Narnia, and art for Brave. There was also a video I didn't get to watch that featured LOTR and HP. The Fantasy atmosphere was cool.
Nice atmosphere. Tasty food. Friendly service. I enjoyed the lentil burger (peppery, but good, I wanted a little ketchup) and French toast (just yum) and house juice. I'm vegan but my omnivore brother enjoyed it as well.
Good, shady playground. Just down a little gravel-paved path is the rocky beach. The water was cool and full of tiny scuttling crabs. Beautiful views.
Our first visit was on our fifth wedding anniversary. We return this year for our tenth. The views, service, and rooms are wonderful. High-quality but low-key atmosphere. The front desk has videos to borrow. They can leave sparkling juice instead of wine in your room.
