Gorgeous. A must see if driving through Custer State Park.

Best to go in October or late April. Not very busy but the snow is still on the ground. Absolutely beautiful. Take Needles Highway through if you can.

Go late! They stop collecting parking tolls at a certain time. Stay for the lighting ceremony 30 min. after sunset.

Absolutely astonishing. Take the scenic loop (HWY SD 240). You won't regret it.

Pretty cool landscape, although you'll be more wowed by the Badlands, Custer State Park or the Black Hills National Forest.
