We had LOW expectation for miss spook hill. Could we really be pulled backwards? And FAST?? No way. Boy were we wrong. Miss spook hill did NOT come to play! We saw 17 pride flags in historic Burkittsville (cutest town we’ve ever seen, and woke to boot)??? We were pulled uphill backwards at 5 MILES AN HOUR! Spooky, indeed.

We weren’t expecting much of this little bridge. In fact, we thought we’d drive across it, and that would be that. OH BOY, were we wrong! Thriving ecosystem, beautiful maroon color, and a quaint little hiking trail. To quote a member of my posse, “a great little place to have a snack, and stretch your legs.” Thank you Mr. Gilpin, you made our day!
