Drove the coast from SF to the Oregon border and only had so much time to pull over and see "the Redwoods" - after getting home, I would say that this stop was definitely one of our favorites - $80 for all 6 of us to get in, but it was a very lovely walk though a variety of trees, and the tram to the top was a nice treat - gift shop/museum, this place has it all

The Crab Shack was closed already, but next door is the Chart Room, their "full service" restaurant - same food, same owner. The place was packed (always a good sign) and met a couple from Humboldt that drives up here every week to eat for "date night"

Coming from Southern California, we are used to a little less "fried food", so we felt a little greased up after eating their famous fish and chips - I think next time we would choose the grilled options. Frankly, for a fishing town, we were expecting more fresh seafood options, as we can get deep fried batter at a fast food restaurant in any city.

What an absolute dream of a day. Like "Rivers of America" at Disneyland, but real life. Yes, you have to paddle, but it is all downstream and you can beach your canoe, have a snack and a swim any time you want. Fun for the whole family.

Love this place. Fresh bread for all the items on the menu. Haven't had a bad thing yet. Try their version of the Egg McMuffin, forgot the name, but it is delicious!

Surprising to find this little gem so far from civilisation. Don't pass through without stopping in for a bite.
