While this might be first trip into the world of Central Texas BBQ, this was a wonderful experience. I was at first disappointed about the 2 hour wait...on a 90 degree late afternoon sojourn to this restaurant, but that it part 9f the experience. So, bring a deck of cards, or a small boardgame and a cooler of beer (or water, or wine...just no soft drinks) and find a table or seat in the shade of the canopy of oak trees and relax. There was live music, and conversation with nice people and the aroma of cooking smoke in the air. Dinner was brisket and ribs and turkey and beans and Cole slaw and ...wow what a perfect evening. And if you plan on $20 a person, you will eat well...probably for 2 days.
