Serious Fluorite collector or just a family trip with children, this is a must stop. The displays are amazing both mineral and mining equipment and the people there are helpful, charming and nice...very nice. Digging in the mine's own tailing piles was a treat because we were able to find our own mementos and at a dollar a pound, a bargain. Call ahead to see when they're open because it is all volunteer staffed and have fun.
