We stayed the nights or July 3/4, 2020. The owner/mangers and their maintenance man were very friendly and helpful. Bags of ice or bundles of wood can be delivered to your site on request. The bathhouse was clean and in good condition. They have hoses available to fill your water tanks while you're parked and a dump station on the way out of the park. There's a small above-ground swimming pool.

Cabins and a tent that can be raised above the ground are available for those not sleeping in RVs.

The campground is secluded in a grove of mature trees although not all of the sites are shaded. However, traffic noise from the interstate was noticeable when sitting outside. Did not bother us once we went in to bed. And by the second day it seemed less intrusive.

The creek curving around the campground runs with enough velocity mosquitoes can't breed in it. The owners told us they had VERY FEW mosquitoes - and they don't! Not sure we saw one at all during our stay.

We met family there and my wife had been planning on making a batch of ice cream; brought everything along except the sugar! The owners kindly supplied us the sugar we needed.

As we were there on the 4th of July we were wondering what the fireworks situation would be. The owners had the situation well in hand. There were a few pretty quiet items set off in the central gathering spot of the campground; all the big stuff was set off away from the RVs. Everyone was invited to watch and join in if you had anything to shoot off, and no RVs were torched. :)

All in all, we had a very enjoyable time and plan on meeting there again.

BTW: I think they are a Good Sam campground.

No dumping here today. Basin is full with used condoms floating.
Last couple times we’ve stopped here it has been slow draining.
No wonder, if that’s the kind of stuff people are putting into a septic system. :(

Fairly spacious sites. We were in Lakeside campground and had great neighbors on both sides.
Very busy, popular campground between Omaha and Lincoln.
Loud air boats on the adjacent rivers.
LONG LINES at the single dump station Sunday!
Hydrants in campgrounds are NOT available for fresh water.

Heavily treed rustic state park. Quite a variety of site sizes. We didn’t use the bathhouse. Fire rings and picnic tables in good condition, as were the power boxes. Lots of trails for hiking. Seven acre lake in the park a couple miles from the campground. Very quiet and peaceful when we stayed.

We didn’t actually stay here, just used the dump station. Asphalt parking with plenty of room and trees on the south for shade. Four spots, all with electric and at least two with water.
Very easy access. Basic services and inexpensive. Perry Police Dept. handles reservations and collects fees.

Small park with mature trees. Some tent camping sites separate from RV sites. Four of the RV sites are reservable online. Two large toilet / shower rooms plus men’s & women’s restrooms. Shower rooms aren’t fancy but pretty clean and sufficient hot water. Showers are free. No dump station. Fresh water is available from a couple of hydrants. Dump station is available in Pattee Park in Perry, IA.

Minimum of about two miles of gravel road to reach park. We paid $17 per night to reserve a site. Drop-in sites are $12 if available. We use 30 amp electric connection; there was a 50 amp plug, too, but not 100% sure it worked. A couple of the sites are pull -through. Park also has a couple of cabins and a shelter house that may be rented.

2019 has been a wet Spring. In June the mosquitoes were thick and voracious!!
