Visited the park for the first time this March 2015. The place is pretty darn big and much to see and learn. The animals are very up close and for the most part they all have plenty of space to inhabit in comparison to a zoo. Did not know the it was a breeding facility either. Great place to take the family and enjoy the day. The butterfly exhibit was pretty cool, oh and they serve beer at this place! FYI!
Great place to get away from the city noise, breathe in fresh air and get lost in natural beauty. The faults have created a wondrous world of rocks here.
