There’s no Huddle House in Lumberton, TX
This is a great place to hike during the day and watch the bats emerge in the evening. Even during the day, you can hike to the bottom of the trail and see the bats flying in the tunnel from afar. As of right now, you have to reserve a spot to watch the bats come out at night.
We never found anything to indicate buildings ever stood here.
Zodiac could have been where a winery now stands. We couldn’t find it.
Take a quick pit stop to glance at these beautiful buildings! It is really worth it!
Watch for the sticker burrs!
If you blink, you’ll miss it! This small creek’s water was low, but we were able to hike around it easily. This small body of water is the home to some tiny frogs you won’t see unless they hop out of your way.
