Dog friendly which is why I gave it 4 stars, cabin was nice with a fireplace inside and fire pit outside. The staff were very friendly Donna in the office and the park ranger whose name I forgot. The ranger picked us up near dusk after getting lost on the trails. If you go hiking be sure to grab both a hiking map and equestrian map because like another reviewer said the trails are poorly marked if at all and there is no sign that lets you know you've left the park and crossed into the equestrian trails. It was also sad to see so many fracking sites just outside the hiking trails. The park was well kept and some very beautiful sunsets to be seen over the lake. Plan on visiting again. They also give a military discount which is nice and they have a winter special. Dogs are charged by the day per dog which can get pricey real fast. But overall it was a nice 4 day trip.
