We are passing through NY and visiting friends as part of our Grand Tour of the US. This park is nicely wooded with clear signage, everything in the site works, and there are a lot of daily activities for kids. A quiet comfortable place to stay and relax away from the surrounding metropolis. About 300 total sites including big rigs, small rigs, cabins, and tents.

The downsides-
Not enough bathrooms. On the tent/cabin loop there are 150 sites served by 2 stalls ea M/W, and 5 showers. This often meant lines at both bathrooms throughout the day. If you are tent camping, in a teardrop, or one of the many cabins without your own facilities this could get very uncomfortable on a busy weekend here. They need to add another large bathroom on this loop with at least 5 stalls ea to accommodate campers there.

The roads in camp are pretty rough and narrow but we had no problem getting in or out.

We have stayed in a lot of KOA all across the country and this one is probably the least well kept. The people were nice enough, restrooms clean, but the laundry had several broken machines, abandoned looking vehicles, fire ants, streets and common areas completely covered with leaves, and lots of traffic noise. Our 30A socket was wired upside down, WiFi is super slow and Verizon only 2 bars. The vibe here is the camp of broken dreams.

We may stay here again as we feel safe and the water and power work but it needs a lot of TLC.

We were here in May and chose this campground because we needed amenities like water, laundry, supplies, propane fill on our continuing US tour. This place is very well organized, clean, and super friendly. The sites are very tight and expensive but sometimes that doesn’t matter much. We were out exploring both days and when not restocking our rig we really just slept here. Would stay here again if in the area.

We like the openness, proximity to the beach, and historic sites in this area. The outer banks are a photographers paradise. We were very surprised by the amount of cactus and bull thorns here so this is not the best barefoot/bike/dog friendly campground. Wear shoes and keep Fifi on the pavement and you will have a great time.

Our particular site does not have an ocean view but many on loop P do towards the top. Price we paid reflects the Senior Pass 50% Discount.

The campsites are clean, modern, and full hookup which is great for RVs.

It sits between the busy 15 fwy and wetlands so VERY noisy and VERY buggy, even early spring. Did I mention the freight trains run next to the freeway as well?? A trifecta!!

We would consider a one nighter here if passing through but not for a family camping vacation. Far too many other great campgrounds in Utah.

This seems like a magical place on the FL Atlantic coast. It is on a manmade inlet between the Indian river and the Atlantic. Teeming with birds, fish, dolphins and fishermen attempting to pass through during a flood tide. The park is simple but clean with elect and water. If you get the front row you-are treated with lovely sunset views along with the steady inlet boat activity. Lots of photographers come her to catch the pelicans and other birds diving for fish with great success.

We spent the month of Feb in FL and Sebastian Inlet was a favorite stop.
