Breathtaking. There is a charge to go to the park but you get up close and personal with the rocks if you take the drive. SUVs recommended. Low profile tires and lower or premium cars should not take the road.

Rough road. Google took us the back way to the falls, a long and slow drive over a rough road. Some was gravel and some was dirt with bumps and tracks from heavy equipment. The map point is just off. We went out the way we should have gone in and the drive is much shorter but still a rough road. Not for low cars or low profile tires. You'll regret it. SUV is preferred.

We were here at the end of March and it was dry. We'll be going back when there is water.

Awesome bridge and views but expensive. It is a bit out of the way but we wanted to visit. One of us took the zipline across the bridge. It was worth is and we will visit again when our kids are older.

For some reason this had a tourist trap feel but did provide great views. You park away from the gate and a 5 minute shuttle ride takes you inside.

The walk to the falls is a tough mile up hill. A tram ride is available for additional cost. There is a restaurant but pricing is high. Its pricing is similar to a fine dining restaurant.

More walking up stairs to see the falls. Tough climb after the hike up the hill. Once you are there, you want to stay. We weren't looking forward to the walk back down.

We used one of those penny smashing machines. Had them break a $1 to get quarters. Most places give you a shiny penny for free since they get the. 50. No, this guy breaks down the change so instead of getting two, we got 1 and extra change. Giving us two pennies would have net you $0.98 but you only got $0.49. Multiple times over a year adds up.

I'd go again but I'd sneak in a lunch, snacks, water and take the tram.

This was amazing. A little snow and ice but made it to the top. Be comfortable driving down hill in a low gear or your brakes will smell. Stop halfway down, visit the store and give your car a brake. Otherwise it was an amazing drive and the views were spectacular.

If you have an older car, don't do it. Automatic highly recommended. It would be worth renting a car if you have an older, manual car.

This is a must see. Spend at least 3 hours for this place. You could just drive through it but in order to appreciate it, you need three hours. 1 hour for the visitors center and two hours for the park itself. You could easily spend a whole day here if you enjoy walking.

Man made. It is one heck of a hike up the hill and then again up the stairs. It is worth the couple extra bucks to take the tram up the hill to save your energy for the hike up the stairs.

We stopped here while traveling through Missouri. There are parts of the original jail but most is a recreation. They did a good job with it. They did a good job explaining the history of the jail and the events that transpired before and after.

Great place. You'll need about 90 minutes to check it out. You could easily spend more than that time here. Lots of well marked walking and hiking paths. Water was flowing and you can easily explore under the rock.
