This was a fun museum! Free admission with interactive exhibits. All three of our kids loved this place and were sad to leave!
A heads up, this is actually located in a military facility, Camp Dodge. You’ll need to check in at the front gate and follow signs to the museum. But it was a neat experience. Google maps directed us a back way from interstate 35, through Polk City that put us on 415 across Saylorville Lake. It was another unique experience that added to the fun.
Was a neat little building with a dam. There is a park on the other side of river that looked fun, but we visited in December so it was a bit cold to play outside. A nice quick stop, but is about 4 miles off the interstate and has no bathroom facilities. The park might have some bathrooms...we didn’t check there.
