Beautiful area. Too cold to swim but it was nice sitting on the grassy area with the breeze blowing. Very peaceful and relaxing.
The girls working the museum were really helpful. Enjoyed it. Gardens were beautiful.
Not many people in the water. We walked down to check it out. Waves were coming in hard, not sure if it's always like this or just the day we picked. Sand at the water line was black... from oil? Not sure. Lots of pieces of shells, sand was course with shell pieces, not fine and soft.
Nice little place, especially for the surfing buffs. It was a little hidden but well worth searching it out.
Wonderful place! Really enjoyed seeing the turtles and the staff was very dedicated and caring. The little girl who gave the talk on the kinds of turtles, their injuries, and what they were all about, did a great job! We are hoping to see a turtle release of the baby hatchlings tomorrow.
I agree, it was pretty dirty. We didn't even find sand dollars but it was late in the day when we were there. There were a lot of families there. Must have walked into Mexico because our phone service turned to Telcel.
We ate at Dirty Al's at the entrance to Isla Blanca Park and it was fabulous! The food was great and hot! Service was fast and friendly. I'd try Dirty Al's again for sure.
We showed up at 830pm on a Saturday night and there was not one car in the parking lot. Not sure what the hours are for dinner, but we must have been too early.
